One of the most inspiring characteristics of Jesus is that He came into the world not to be served, but to serve. Jesus, the King of the universe, washed feet. Believing in Jesus Christ and being His disciple means being like Him, and we are most like Jesus when we humbly serve others.
Serve One Another
Most ministry efforts at Grace are accomplished through teams of servants who are endeavoring to follow Jesus the Great Servant. Some choose to welcome people with the hospitality team; some dive into tech ministry, and others a housekeeping team; some feed the poor and others feed children the Word of God. But together we all serve so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ (1 Peter 4:11).
As a church we are involved in two means of outreach in our community:
The Food Pantry operates on the first and third Saturday of each month from 9am-11am. For more information on the Food Pantry please contact the church office.
Fort Pierce Cafe
Most Saturday evenings, the Cafe team prepares and serves a hot meal to the homeless and impoverished. Serving hundreds of meals weekly, the Fort Pierce Cafe exists to embody the hospitality of Christ to the less fortunate in our northern neighborhood.
Jesus calls and empowers us to be his witnesses both locally and globally (Acts 1:8). Several times a year, teams from Grace Family Church are sent to targeted regions and countries with a focus on evangelism, church planting and leadership training.
There are serving opportunities available for people of all ages, talents, and personalities.SERVE
