What is Water Baptism?
Simply put, baptism is an act of obedience for the believer in Jesus Christ. It is a symbol of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection and of your new life as a Christian. Water baptism does not make you a believer and it is not a means of salvation, as only faith in Christ's cross has the power to save. Rather, baptism is like a wedding ring - the outward symbol of the commitment you have already made.

Below are some FAQ on water baptism. Please read through these thoroughly before submitting a signup form.
Anytime after you become a believer! (Acts 8:35-38)
By immersion in water, just as Jesus was baptized (Matthew 3:16).
We understand that children can make a genuine profession of faith in Christ and we celebrate when they do. However, it is very important that the person being baptized is intellectually and spiritually mature enough to understand the concepts of personal sin, repentance and forgiveness. We believe water baptism is to be a once in a lifetime event; therefore, we encourage believing children to wait until they are 13 to be baptized.
That said, if your child is under that age and is interested in being baptized, we require that you please go through the attached, specially prepared document to help them understand water baptism.
