Child Dedication at Grace Family
We love children at Grace, and we are here to come alongside you as parents and equip you to raise them. If you desire to dedicate your children to God, please read this page thoroughly. This will help you understand our view of dedicating children and help you prepare for the special day! The signup form will appear at the end of the page.
What is Child Dedication?
We actually like to call it Parent-Child Dedication, because it is a time when Christian parents present their child to God. Our model is based in Luke 2:21-40 when Joseph and Mary brought Jesus as an infant to the temple to present Him to God. Likewise, Parent-Child dedication is a public pledge made by parents to God, in the presence of the church family, to do everything within their ability to raise their child to love Jesus and His people.

Parent-Child dedication at Grace is not infant baptism. We do not baptize infants, as Scripture makes it clear that baptism is for those who have repented of their sins, which an infant is incapable of doing.
